※ For overseas internships, the credit and duration must be standardized to 18 credits.
For both the "Internship Program Plan & Job Description" and the "Internship Agreement", please write the internship period according to the number of credits you intend to earn.
Credit Guidelines:
Students who apply within the official application period must register for the corresponding internship course (~Internship) during the course registration period.
(Additional instructions will be provided after the internship application is complete.)
Important Reminders
- Internships must begin within 4 weeks from the start of the semester (Sep 1, 2025). Otherwise, it will not be recognized as an official internship.
- The internship must last at least 12 weeks. Each credit requires 30 to 40 hours of work.
- Weekly working hours must not exceed 40 hours, and nighttime (after 6 PM) or weekend work is not allowed.
- Students cannot apply for internships at companies they are registered as a representative of.
- Internships must be related to your major.(e.g., A culinary major cannot apply for a car maintenance internship.)
- Credits will not be granted if the student quits or changes internships for personal reasons during the program.
- Any issues during the internship must be immediately reported to your internship advisor or department assistant.
Credit Recognition Criteria
- Internships must be based on a formal contract between the student and the company.
- The university grants 18 credits per semester if the student completes at leasts 540 working hours during the official semester period.
- Even if the student works more than 540 hours in a semester (e.g., 950 hours), the maximum number of credits granted remains 18.
